Reviews for "Leon : Terracotta Murders"

Great but horrid controls

It seems to be a really awesome game (I'm still playing it) but the controls are really really horrible and probably pulling down your score a whole lot. Here are two options for you:

1) let us use the arrow keys (you might not now how to do that though, which leaves us with option 2)

2) let us click anywhere in the room/location and interact with every object available without forcing us to walk next to it. that's how most adventure games are done.

I'm sure the game would be above 4.00 if the controls weren't so horrible.

Also, you should mail somebody at ArmorGames or CrazyMonkeygames to get a sponsorship for this game, I definately think it's good enough (even with the current controls). You could probably get at least 300 dollars.

Good luck on future games!

blah....

i liked the whole idea of the game but i had to quit. moving him took way 2 freaking long and sucked all the fun out of that game. i would like to use the keys... that is what they are made for. adventure games are always fun. fix the movement

title

the walking sucks, the rest is just great ! nice game

suggestion

add moving around based on using the arrow keys?

MrDDK responds:

shh... it's not that simple

There had to be a better way

The controls felt sluggish, unresponsive, and awkward. I hated having to Pixel-hunt to make basic movement. The Fight seemed nearly impossible due to the horrid controls. I would have been muc better to make control buttons (Left, right, up, down) rather than the current setup. Leon moved terribly slowly, and a great number of the puzzles were too vague to solve without the aid of the Walkthrough.
The humor is... Lacking. I know you're a Brit in a mostly American audience, but I don't really recognize anything that would pass as humor.
Graphics were a little crude, but passable.
There were a LOT of sound issues. Poor voic Samples, generic and Bland music (Flashkit doesn't have very good music.) and chees sound effects.

If I had made this, and asked myself "Is this the best I can do?" I would be forced to answer "No." It's a massive file for an underwhelming game.
