Not bad but...
I like the idea of taking a comedy skit and making it into a flash, but I'd recommend that you animate the story, not the character telling the story if you want to get better reviews. The drawings were well done, if you combined them with more animation you'd have a good flash.

I think if you were to not listen to the negative reviews, spend some time with Flash, and seriously put some effort into it, you could do something quite nice.
It's just that this routine.....it's not original, and I don't find it funny.
I mean, you CAN draw, I'll tell you that much.
DOn't let negative reviews put you down, as the worst that's going to happen if you submit a bad flash is it'll get blammed.
Trust me, try to come up with something original, something that you thought up by yourself, something you can look at and chuckle because it's yours.
That's something that Newgrounds is lacking lately, and I think someone needs to do something about it.

I'm just saying that this is average. Nothing memorable, or terribly interesting. I think it can get passed, but it lacks animation.

The style you used was quite nice, it would be neat to see an actual animation with it. It seems like you just pulled some of the random stuff the comedian said and had it appear next to your character who sat there with his lips moving.
Also when you use an audio clip from someone else make sure you credit where you got it from, who the comedian is or something, or you run the risk of somebody saying it is stolen.
I did like the style though, and used properly it could probably produce a beautiful animation.

I have a hard time...
believing this was hand drawn. I looks seriously like you ran the images through a bitmap tracer like in Xara or some other program. The sound was ok, but I get easily bored watching these that are set to some other audio piece that is not original. Just didn't do much for me.

If you're trying to be "original" why the hell are you using a recording of somoene else's stand-up routine?! And I have been so stoned I can move, but I have never look at anything and thought it was a watercolour. You're an idiot.
