Reviews for "Final Fantasy VII Part 1"

Don't blame me

I'm a crazy fan for Final Fantasy as you can see even my name is Square. And guess what, this game is good but needs hell loads of work to be interesting. I expect better quality in part 2

pretty good!

It still needs work. Like the lagg during the parade made it impossibe to preform anything. Still I enjoy it! I sadly can't help as I don't do flash or aniation.

I think you could ever do your own ff7 games but using more orginal storylines. There are alot of ff6 games and flashe movies out there on newgrounds so its refreshing to see someone tackle this game

pretty good

just work on the saving thing and i think you'll have a great game here, i enjoyed it anyway, but there are a few problems, i wish i could help u out on how to fix them but i'm just learning flash, some things take a while to load, but like i said, i enjoyed it

broken

1 Encountered spelling mistake on loading screen
2 clicked play.
3 Clicked around in armours screen, clicked load.
4 Stuck on a screen full of numbers
closed game

Meh, I can see where you're trying to go...

But you have a long way to travel before you get there.

Some of my complaints:
SLOW (the game hangs between 'scenes' for a good couple of seconds)
UGLY (Yes... It is. Maybe it will be a beautiful butterfly some day, but that day is not today.)
NOT USER FRIENDLY

Well, what falls under that last area... Well, for starters, you need to learn how to make buttons. Trying to click text is much harder than hitting a button. Also, why ask the user what area they want to go to? Is that your save game? That's too easily hacked. BUT, and this is important... if you have never played the game, then wtf do you expect people to enter?

I could go on about this for a while, but you are obviously trying, so I gave this a 2. Actionscript.org and the flash forum here are your friends.
