There were a few problems, but good overall
It's an extensive tutorial, covering everything the flash beginner needs to know. This is definately a good submission, but I'm not sure about front page material.
There were a few little problems with it, most noticably the layout. It looked choppy, like the graphics were produced in as quick a time as possible. It also lacked animation - something which makes every flash tutorial that much better. The music was alright, but I found it annoying that I had to click the 'music off' button before I changed the song. A simple piece of code would allow the button to stop all music, then start the chosen track.
If you redone this, taking note of my critique, I think that this could be an amazing tutorial.

Chocale! (Where I live that means were are doing or have the same thing) I'm making a tutorial to it's called ratches max tutorial. It covers just about everything in flash! Anyways nice tutorial, I needed that stop all sounds code. Thanx!:)

Good Tutorial
On a whole this is a very helpful tutorial. The Graphics could use a little tweaking but is a lot better than some of the stuff that makes it one here. Keep up the good work.

ther's alot of tutorials but this one is better than most. it was done well and it turned out great. i'm pretty sure that it will stay. and if it doesn't, then take advice and work on another. but good job anyway.
