Great but one problem
It´s a great game but everytime you defeat a boss, the ship cant move but it is still possible for the boss to hurt you. When I defeated the third boss the ship froze. I couldnt dodge its giant claw and died. You should fix that.

1.maybe differend music at each stage so you know when you get there
2. you have to pres the buton to shoot each time, to provoc that people keep the button pressed so the gun keeps firing.
that would make it a bit harder, but way more challenging.
3. like the other guy wrote, upgrades
4. upgradeble ships, so after each level you can at more speed, power, or shield to it.
well that was it, it was a good game

-when using special it's impossible to know if the enemy is shooting.

Just didn't do it for me.
The game was a side scroller which kinda of amazed me at first but I noticed the ship was way too big for the actual window size you chose to use to run the game. The controls are a but funky to use but manageable. The music is alittle too fast paced for the action, with music like that I would expect things flying at your from every direction and you literally being in a fight for your life. The ship manuevering (Spelled Incorrectly) was alittle funny, it went from a stationary equilibiral position to turning automatically in what looks like just one image change, you need maybe 2 or 3 before you get to what you want it to look like while it's moving. On the up side, if this is one of your first games, it a promising start, if your an experience flash maker then you have to smooth out some rough edges but I alwasy give credit for people who make games, movies or animations on flash becuase I know its hard.
Very Good game.
With the recent emphasis on all 2d space shooters this one was very good. I thought it was well done all though special #1 (E) was way to unbalanced. It was my number one way of killing the bosses. Fantastic game otherwise since it was different from all the other space shooters on Newgrounds. Kudos.
