Okay Graphics And Amazing Audio!

First off - I personally /love/ Inu Yasha (even though I prefer the subtitled version with the original voices). So what struck me first is how dead-on your voice acting was for kagome and inu yasha themselves! It sounded like one of the dubbed episodes - a little creepy how close they are. Naraku is the only one who sounds out of place... but he's just a creepy ape anyway XD Also, your use of the 'background' tracks from the show was exceedingly effective. When the 'credits' started, it just felt... right, somehow. And I love shippo's track that plays whenever mischief is going on!

As for the rest, the script is good - exactly the sort I could see as part of the show, all perfectly in-character. All the jokes were decent-ish - a little thin around the 'threatening kids with a sword' bit, but okay elsewhere. Especially liked the part after the credits, which more makes fun of the series than Halloween itself. MAJOR points for the preloader - the ears! Must...click...compulsively! ^.^ Just wish he didnt look away when you did.

The primary downside I'd point to is the graphics themselves - it looks painfully like cutout-art in some places, with only the mouths moving. What you do with the eye animation is effective, but the limbs, less so. And a part of me just wishes I could've seen Inuyasha Facevault with the 'sit' command - it's never explained that's what's happening, to those who may not know the show. The one leg I could easily see leaving people thinking "what the hell?"

All in all, an excellent submission for this halloween season ^.^ Good job!

MC-Huggies responds:

Yeah, the voice actors did a fantastic job and really made this flash better. And even though I did sort of cheap out on the backgrounds, I tried to keep them close to the show, even if a little.

Also, I understand completely what you mean about the cut-out feeling of this. It's my fault really for waiting too long to start this. I wish I had taken the time to draw more poses and such because I personally found it boring to have only animated faces and limited limb movement. Also, I never thought about the "sit boy" concept and people not understanding it... I wish I had thought of that before, but I'm still rather pleased with the results.

Thanks for the spot on review. I hope you have a good halloween!

ha, love it

when kids attack. i'm telling ya, it's a scarry thing. anyway, it was great. everything was perfect. good job to you. oh, and btw, the thing after the credits was hilarious.

MC-Huggies responds:

I think people underestimate the power of small children. Especially when they're in packs O_o;
Thanks for the comment!

I want an encore...

That was an incredible flash... best voice acting I've heard in... ever... I don't get to watch much anime... no less Inuyasha... but the voices were nearly dead on... Great job!

MC-Huggies responds:

The voice actors really are the heart of this flash and I'm really happy to see that people appreciate their hard work :D
