Reviews for "A Theft of Funny (TTA)"

Quite original looking

Yet the bgs SUCKED... the characters looked very original and all, great movements yet I just don't understand why did you abuse gradients on the bgs. The humor needs retouches but overall it was really good.

Keep it up.
(I just hope you didn't just trazed the characters...)

Hell yes.

My man, this is some very good work, albeit, it's not your own ideas, but i'm not going to slag it off for that. You've recreated and animated these characters very well, i've been waiting for some real animations to appear on newgrounds, you must have heard my thoughts.

I don't know where you're going with the story, and i did find it a little boring, but it's so well done that i've just got to keep a look out for updates.

The only thing i didn't like, was... at the beginning, there's a mention of no cencoring, and yet, the show has a very child like appeal, if you give these characters a little attitude, i think it will be enjoyed a hell of a lot more. It doesn't have to be anything crazy, you don't even have to swear, just crack in a few subtle jokes that only us "adults" would understand.

Best of luck man, this is nice.

Oh thats a good comment, I appreciate stuff like this. I'll keep that in mind for when I start up part 2 :)
Thanks for the review.

It was alot like the actual cartoon.

the voices were a little annoying but the animation was great and so was the concept.good job.

Brillant

Just this morning as I was walking myself to school I thought about how much I missed running home to watch Tiny Toons and Animaniacs every day. MMMMmmmm... Classic cartoon antics. You got the style down- especially the bouncy orchestral music. I was really impressed. I also like how you had a perfect balance of staying to the show, but also creating your own thing. The plot was genius. Why, that's the most practical school situation ever created! Now then, here's some pointers...

*The voices are somewhat hard to understand at times. Liven them up too, it sounds as though you are in fear that they don't sound enough like the originals and that is true. The voice is important so make it easy to hear and of course entertaining.

*EVEN MORE SPORADIC BEHAVIOR, yes it should never stop in classic cartoon style!

*You left the "five seconds" thing hanging.

*Make sure that all music is the same quality. Sometimes it sounds like you switch from MIDI to MP3. Also the music needs to be lowered to hear the characters' voices.

***The X-Files sequence is brillant ON MANY LEVELS.

Can't wait to see another episode!

Thanks for the kind words and helpful suggestions! I will indeed work on what you mentioned for my future animations, hey but not too bad for my first no? :)

Fan fiction or too much time on your hands?

Yep this had to be made buy someone who watched Tinytoons everyday in 1995. But it looks like just the original, original as in made buy no one who orignally did the show. hmm....wasn't there already a fan fiction Tinytoon episode? If so this ain't the first. Anyway this great stuff, just refine the music and sound and you'll be sitting pretty, It get a toony 8/10

(Ps. How is less candy fun, i.e. funsize candy?)

buster126 responds:

Well the only thing that has come close to another tiny toons episode in Flash was like a 30 second still image promo for a a movie spoof.
Thanks for da review!
(Oh and a little bit of both XD )
