Reviews for "A Theft of Funny (TTA)"

Damn near a ten

You know, as a submission comes closer and closer to a perfect ten, it gets harder, in my mind, to garner that ten. This was a fantastic flash and the only thing that stopped it from getting 5/10 was the fact that it was so hard to hear the dialogue at times. The voices were done VERY well (it's tough to get Mel Blanc perfect) but the audio wasn't up to the same standard as the story or animation.

Wonderful work. Get that audio taken care of and you will have perfect scores in the next entry.

Yes I do understand what you mean, I will work on this next time around :) Thanks for the comment!

Nice...

It is a pretty nice movie, I really enjoyed watching it, it bring me back memmories... Anyway, I really like the graphics, everything really looks real, both the charecters and the background. I also like the fact that the style of your show and the real show matches perfectly! However, the script wasn't that funny, although it was exactly like a real episode from that show. The music in the first part where the introduce us to the movie, annoys me too... It is a great movie, well done.

Yes I really need to collaborate with other Tiny Toons Fan Fiction writers, doing a solo is hard. hehe.

Wow, that felt like a real Tiny Toons episode!

While I haven't seen more than about five episodes of Tiny Toons - and even then that was about twelve or thirteen years ago - this seems exactly like something Warner Bros. would do. The animation actually looked more or less like the actual show, which is VERY impressive. The voices were about as close to Mel Blanc's as one could get, and the sound effects seemed like they were taken directly from the show. Like the guy before me said, I think you could apply that high level of skill to something a little bit... "cooler", but hey, whatever floats yer boat. I'm overall pretty impressed with this! Good work!

I just felt I had to do this, I dunno :P Oh and it wasnt Mel Blanc who did the voices in the original Tiny Toons, it was a bunch of other great voice actors like Charlie Adler, Joe alaskey, Don Messic and a great deal of others. Thanks for the comment.

Good old days...

Yeah, I remember the days when there were cartoons on television that weren't anime. The art was bang on, and the voices were much closer than I expected when I read the description. I always like to see the high/medium/low quality buttons in flashes, too, and the whole thing came off as pretty seamless. Excellent, excellent work.

Well done

Great animation that's totally in-line with the original. The jokes were a tad lame, but fitting for the series. Keep it up!
