very interesting trailer you got here. nice drawings, good audio from the audio portal and it looks like that it could produce a great animation when the finished flash is done. i strongly look forward to seeing it. glad to see this one win an award.
Mixed massages.
the begining was something like iRobot.
then the covenant.
then a disney channel show.
and ended something like naruto.
over all the art was not that great, the anime was ugly and amerture.
the only good looking thing in this was the ending title.

this has been the funniest flash ive ever seen, whether it was meant to be or not.
It was SO BAD. sry but the art isnt good enough to try and make it look cool or epic. plus, i don't know if it was your voice, but it seemed kinda out of place with whatever u were trying to do. maybe u should have had a friends voice it.
so ya, practice drawing some, because without the art, instead of looking dark or badass or serious in any way, it's just ridiculous. That was the main problem.
plus, he fights ppl with guns using a big hammer. wtf. it better be a magical hammer that makes him immune to bullets or have super bullet dodging speed, and it has to give him super strength, since a skinny little kid couldnt swing that bigass hammer very fast or very much at all, unless the hammer is somehow really light, but then it wouldnt have nearly as much force. seriously, a hammer. I could really imagine him jumping up saying "too late," and having all those cops just shoot him 50 times. even if they didnt do it, whatever happened next would be hilarious.
I understand this is your story, and you can make a kid with a hammer beat up as many aliens as u want, but im just saying.
but anyways, the important part is that I enjoyed it, even if it was in a different way than you might have wanted.
First of all, this is just a trailer. Not much has been revealed, especially with the guy jumping onto the crowd of policemen. I know what happens in that!
Secondly, this is one of the earliest flash animations I have ever done. It is the time when that kind of art is considered to be good enough. I never got into making Hammer King right after making that trailer because if I did, it would considered to be the worst animation in NG. Thats why I went on to make music animation such as Pink Color and Hapless. When I find my own style and improve my art and graphics, then I'm ready to do Hammer King.
Third, lighten up! Again this is a trailer! There is alot more to the story than some kid whacking guys with a giant hammer. And I'm sorry to the guys that are waiting for the first episode because they like the idea and wanted to get into the story.
One thing about using his giant hammer against people with guns! You know how big the head of the hammer is! It can be used as a shield against bullets. Duh! Geez!
