Wow. I read this book for summer reading going into 10th grade, and it was probably the first thing that punched me in the face, as to showing me what the Holocaust was truly like. After reading this, and seeing Saving Private Ryan, I can understand what the world went through in the late 30s to the mid 40s, but not comprehend its suffering. This movie caught Night's mood perfectly.

Your right how can man be so cruel to man. I think this is an awesome movie. It has a good moral good intension and is not a shoot em up like that damn pico. ( Pico is still kewl ). I think I might just read what was that book called you got it from. Well anyways I think I'll read that.

I have rarely seen a portal entry as thoughtful as this. The message it holds is one we all need to listen to. Although Wiesel said these things first, your presentation brings new life to his story. We must not forget that man has in himself the capacity to be an animal. I hope you continue to get these words out. Without a hope of peace, there will only be this endless night.
Most portal viewers are too dumb to understand
This is brilliant, a truly horrifying yet emotional depiction of the holocaust, "Night" is a great book and I encourage everyone to read it. Most of the ignorant fools are going to give this a "0" sadly, and they will just turn their heads and imagine that the holocaust didn't happen. Don't let their bad reviews get to you because your movie has something to it which is beyond ratings, graphics, or reviews.
