Reviews for "Project: Monochrome"

I'm sorry

I'm sorry but this game is good but the very small screen ruins everything. When an enemy appears on the screen, you barely have enough time to kill it.

Not to be offensive in any way, but, this is poor.

One thing, I don't seriously understand how you got frontpaged. But even so, this game was really, just, poorly done. It was a big rip-off of the arcade classics. You didn't even leave a tribute.

But the main thing to adress is the fact the it was just, poorly designed, it almost every aspect- The music set a terrible tone and basically made me so annoyed that I cursed it. The graphics were OK at most, but I can tell you spent very little time doing the background for the game. There was NO colour, which made the game EVEN worse.

Finally, the modes were crappy and the game just plain old sucked. But really, who were you kidding with that music? Sorry to down your hopes, but it really was low quality.

Glaiel-Gamer responds:

Hey, it's hard to draw in no color, it's meant to be that way and most people understand that it gives it color.

Not bad

yay, is pretty long (i loved the detail in the final boss) but is pretty boring sometimes. Some weapons should do splash damage or penetrate multiple enemies. I would like 2 to upgrade the ship, not only the weapones (which are a little bit unbalanced, some weapons SUX) and change the background music to another one more encouraging.

Ah, i would thank a lot to pause the game in some moments

Some weapons are pretty cool but...

Good god the gameplay is boring.

The levels are ungodly long, and the mission breifing just says "survive" most of the time. Plus the weapons are really expensive. There should be some cheats or something, so people don't have to save up for like... 25 levels to get the top weapons.

solution to your "no diagonal movement" problem

you can change the shoot-key to be CTRL, rather space. this doesn't conflict with the arrow keys.

overall, I must say that the game felt very basic. none of the weapons had any personality to speak of, AI drones had virtually no AI... I can overlook the gray-scale, but if you're going to use that color scheme, there should be some critical reason for doing so.
