Creepy, but not much fun.

The creepyness was great; at the beginning when you see all those weird faces and when you shine your light ont hem they dissapear. But I have to say, it gets old pretty fast. I did get to the second area, the "seven day" thing, got three bags of marbles and other stuff, just so you know. Work on making it more enjoyable so it's easier to see it through.

It's a point and click adventure, there isn't really much you can do. The genre limits itselfs to these types of puzzles. However, I do have plans to make the later levels more about finding ways to stay alive instead of being about puzzles.

i didnt beat it but-

-i deffinetly no wut the ending is, right after reading about thos "dark ones" and how the family got killed i knew (if i'm right dont read this if u dont wanna ruin the flash :P) that sum thing happened to the mother and one of these (probly the leader of the "dark ones") jumped out of her chest much like in alien, then the thing that jumped out of her killed the rest of her family.

as for the flash it self, the 10 mins i played of it were great i was scared right from when i flashed the floor and cought a glimps of a "dark one" running away from me. and thos dolls were very creepy. i only entered two rooms the the doll room(times times actualy) and then the room i died in which was like the entrance of a mansion with stairs in front of me i wanted to leave right away but i couldnt and then i heard a roar and then i died it reminded me of resident evil when i died only it said dead end and not your dead..wow i wrote alot any ways great job maybe i might finish your next game :)

No, she killed the family members herself. If something had come out of her chest there would be an exit wound, of which none was found.

only one way to play this game

here are a few steps to fully maximise this game
1. turn the lights off
2. it must be night time (1 am or later is best)
3. wear headphones
4. be alone
5 have lots of fresh underwear.
6. the dolls are coming.

I'd have to admit..

Like everyone else, I didn't expect to be scared of a flash game at all. I first thought it would be a breeze and a "little" scary, but boy, having headphones with full blast volume on, and you get the jibbies right there.

Basically I only tried (Or say, was rather curious) in the room with the dolls. I didn't know what was really going on, with no introduction, but bam, right there, I get hit, and I just stood there with a blank stare. Great game, and I'll be sure to play the rest...and hopefully see what else is in the dark world in the beginning later. ._.

Funny, I showed the doll room to people immediately after I designed it and nobody thought it was scary. It's good to see I was just testing it on the wrong people.

Playing this on midnight is very bad for you.

I'm not one that really takes interest into horror games, the least one I ever played was Eternal Darkness and that level of scariness just barely makes it to be equal to this flash. My heart was pumping through the whole course, the walk through helped me save time because of all the heart pumping from thinking something will get me every turn. I couldn't think straight and wanted to get through as fast as possible. I WOULD complain about graphics since they aren't the greatest, you used them in such a way it's style in all it's own.

Dude, you get a big thumbs up from me, I look forward to whatever freaky stuff is in your later installments o.o (wimpers)

A lot of the ideas for this game came from Eternal Darkness, including transforming house, the background stories, and the overall "evil history" theme.
