A fitting Beatmania IIDX tribute
Awesome game, man. I really like the idea behind it and the game is very responsive. The feel of the game makes you think it's actually Beatmania. (Nice job on the volume control option!)
Overall, awesome job. I hope that you make other installments of this series with different genres of music. (Perhaps a Konami Original songs one?)
I've considered branching the series out into other genres for awhile now. It might happen eventually, but I can't say when. A Konami Originals version would be rather cool though... but it's difficult with the 9 song limit to decide what to use (have to keep the file under 5MB for Newgrounds).

wow. i usually am able to rate a game a 10 and still have something constructive to say. most games are good, but not perfect (i believe anything that has a lot of effort, despite imperfections, deserves a 10). this game was amazingly responsive. most DDR-esque games suffer from a lack of responsiveness, but this game was exactly how it was supposed to be. instead of copying DDR exactly, you made a variation, and it turned out exactly the way it should be.
i like to think that i have a keen eye for detail, and one of my favorite little things was how your "rating" (the percentage that judged how you were doing) ACTUALLY functioned as a volume control as well. it just added a little something extra to the game that wasnt necessary, but turned out excellent.
i cant think of anything helpful to say. this is amazing. there is no room for improvement. youve created an amazing game that DEFINATELY belongs on my favorites. i hope to see more from you in the future. maybe made a third edition with some j-pop! ^_^

cool but..
stil lack of control.. the bar just f*ck me off... i dont know .. i just messed up on my finger the last bar and the shift .. to hard man change it to arrow or better control for 2 hand i just dont liek to glue my hand together to TRY to type -.-
You can change the controls in the options menu, bottom right corner. I think the default config works best, but redefine the keys if you prefer.
