MUCH better than the first one.
Putting the "scratch" on the left side made it a lot easier for my brain, since I'm used to it being on left for BMDX (a IIDX simulator), so huge kudos for that. I'm very glad you added speed mods, though I could go for one more. I'm not a huge metal fan, so the song selection wasn't too impressive to me, and I was disappointed by the lack of Dignity and Absolute from the previous game : (. It's definitely no competition for Stepmania, but it is very fun in its own right, and unlike some retards, I recognize that you made this in flash, which I imagine makes it a lot tougher to make a coherent and working game. The one thing that's kind of annoying is that it currently wants me to work towards a 1500 point goal, and since I can't beat anything on "xtreme," (I play with one hand for zxcv and left hand index on shift, since I'm used to one-handing stepmania and one-handing the bottom row on IIDX) and I already AA'd or AAA'd everything on hard except for Declaration, I'd have to go back to normal and basic to earn those points; if one can AA/AAA almost everything on hard, there should never be any good reason for them to go back to normal and basic.
So, I guess I had a lot of minor gripes, but hey, great work overall. And I guess that constructive criticism is what leads to improved sequels? And you succeeded in making a fun game. Oh yeah, and I'm curious about Expert and Expert+ modes, so I hope you get those finished soon :D
