The Problem is, it's a ripoff of that mini-tanks game. Here's some suggestions.
Yes, NPCs.
You should be able to move a little every turn or something without jumping.
Maybe a gun that shoots throguh the ground?
How about a gun that doesn't explode, but shoots a sniper bullet?
You should NOT let stuff that was on top of destryed terrain just float there. That's unrealisic to the exteme.
But I like it!

I love the original still play it. not a bad replication. add more items and add more control of the power and angle. not a bad game though fun.
