Good Job
When I saw this flash I knew I had to review it. Why? Because I Loved Scorched Earth as a kid! I mean... omg Why would anyone want to make a flash game about it? It was a shoddy game with poor graphics and not very good game play. But that didn't matter because when you came to make this game you improved on everything the game lacked in. Good job and kudos to you.

Dissappointing
I had high hopes for this, but unfortunatly it doesnt compare to the original. There isnt nearly enough weapon variety, and it is pretty buggy. Also, I would like t play against AI once in a while, so try to integrate some kind of computer opponent. I fell in love with the original SE, but this seems like a dim reflection.
I don't want an extreme height bonus...

Anyway, using the "Scorched Earth" name means people are going to expect a lot of the game. And we did. Unfortunately this seemed like a test because of all the bugs in it. The gauges were hard to see, the game was hard to start over, there were only two types of attacks (I'm not counting the teleport because it didn't work very well), the power gauge was busted (don't try and play it off like it's better) it should be based on how much health you had left too (that's how it really worked), and there was no comp.
After that, it should be fine and worthy of the front page.
Don't get discouraged, it was an alright first try.
