Reviews for "Strange Fruit"

Very well done.

I don't know what anyone is talking about if they say they think this was cheated to the top 50. This is a very powerful movie. At first I didn't know what was going on, then I reread the title and it hit me. The style is dark and perfect. Keep up the good work, man.

Whoa

You know, I've been calmoring for more dark artful pieces on NG for quite some time... This wasnt what I had in mind.

Nonetheless, this is beautiful. a little slow, but then you're working from a very slow song, so I can't really complain about that...

Keep up the good work, man.

Your fan speaking again, lol

*applauds*

Well done, again. Hope you do more stuff like what you've been doing, again. I wish you had a website, though; I'd really love to see more of your work.

DonQuixote responds:

Thanks for the comments.

At the moment I'm just a poor grad student and don't have the resources for my own site nor do I have much time (so my next work will be a little ways off into the future).

it was good

but it took to long to get to the point

DonQuixote responds:

I didn't want to change the song in any way, so I left it as it is, even with the long instrumental intro.

You, my friend, are a classy individual.

Your 3 movies are all excellent and I believe that this one is better than the one that is currently in the top 50 (Bad Attitude). Great song and I think the last reviewer was right about most people not knowing what the song is about. Damn...you are one of the best on newgrounds and I hope you continue doing these animations.

DonQuixote responds:

Thanks.
Currently I'm envisioning a rendition of E.A. Poe's "The Raven" set to Ludwig von Beethoven's Piano Sonanta Op. 27 No. 2 (more commonly known as the Moonlight Sonata).
