Reviews for "Jumpstyle (Beat 1)"

Sounds more like eurodance that jumpstyle

The bassline was generic, both tonally and the sound of it itself. Sounds like you raped on the Nexus and Vengeance packs aswell. On the impacts, there was some terrible clipping/overcompression. The melody was kinda nice I guess.

You got a good ear for music, but you gotta learn to have a more original sound and learn to mix.

Loved the boing

I think that this song has what it takes to be a welcome addition to the genre of Techno. The addition of the spring sound 'boing' just made me stop and think for a while. It's really something that you don't expect to hear in a Techno track the first time you listen.

A good beat and a decent melody to complete the piece. I think that it could do with a little work to loop it, which would make it even better, then you could think about even making it longer, possibly adding other things for variation - I didn't personally like the vocal samples, as I thought that they took something away from the track itself.

Generic

If there's one music genre I hate more than any other it's techno, but I'll still try and review with an open mind..

The intro was pretty generic, and it sounded just like any other techno song. Like Fro said, it was best at about 0:50, but even then, it got all clogged up and sounded messy. Pretty much the whole song sounded the exact same, with nothing really breaking the monotony.

The ending was seemed fairly decent, but you could still have done something a bit more original with it.

Maybe I just don't get this genre. Either way, it wasn't my cup of tea.

well everyone has their own views toward different genre. and obviously you didnt like this one, which i can respect considering its different for everyone. Though the rating of 3 didnt help :( your entitled to your opinion. Thanks for the review :)

Woah, fun.

The area right around 50 seconds give and/or take a second or two made this song very exciting in my opinion. Really starts off sounding generic, but you added a few cool effects to it that made it really sound good.

Something that I was really nodding my head to the entire time along with tapping my foot on the ground. Just gives that feeling that you want to move when listening to this song.

The introduction of vocals later in the submission was really nice and from there on you had even more cool effects that really made this submission sound good.

Overall it was really upbeat and fun to listen to. Great job!

Awesome to hear you enjoyed it :)

Good Into

The intro was a good part of the song, but when it finally started picking up the upbeat really made this song sound very professional. I could see the making it onto a real compilation of tech tracks with some of the best artists out there today. Honestly this is a really great beat all around from beginning to end. It had the perfect amount of background noise, and although I do not know as much about audio as I do for flash, I know this sounded great. Nice work!
