Nice track, most games are easily completed by going flat out but you made this well, my time was 101.5 but i was being a little over cautious on the brakes. All you need now are a few more tracks, maybee some opponents and you could turn it into a sort of series.

you CAN go full speed, but just barely. i hope to incorporate more tracks, opponents, and cars into the next installment, as well as more realistic game physics.

Seeing that i was mentioned in the authors comments i thought i better review this game. i think its a good solid game that is easy to play.. all that needs to be down now is to improve it by making more tracks, maybe a computer crontrol racing to race again. another thing will be to improve graphics cause its a little be plain apart from that good job glad i was able to help u make a good game

Great effort.
I love Initial D and there aren't many flashes goign about on here so origionality gets a high. A few suggestions could make this game rock.
1. More choices of cars eg. Levin, RX-7FD & FC, Civic, Evo, Skyline, S13, Sil-80, MR2.
2. MAKE THE CARS DRIFT!!! It's what Initial D is all about!
3. A more detailed background would help a lot, maybe a mountain pass like akina.
4. Give the cars different attributes such as some should be faster, some better at turning etc. But all should stay equally as useful.
5. Race!! If there was a car to race againstit would be great. Follow the series maybe, or recreate your own story for origionality!
Well theres my thoughts, I'm actually tempted to get flash and make my own Initial D stuff, I'm a nut for it! Mwahaha. Great try any way =]
1. well, the actionscripting for that wouldnt be fun, i dont think, but i did want to try that.
2. the drifting method isnt as easy to script as everyone thinks. there are properties of flash that make the script glitch, and until i solve those issues, drifting will be nothing but an initial d fan's wet dream.
3. yeah, even i was embarrassed of that background
4. THAT is the reason for what i said in number one. the actionscripting on that would suck. a lot. but i do want to give it a shot next time around.
5. yeah, again. another thing i wanted to do, but i just havent learned enough of flash to have a good grip on that. i thought about making the other racer just a motion tween on the track symbol, but the track image was just too damn large for me to edit.
this project was GREAT fun for me. games were the reason i tried flash out. if you have a good grasp for stuff like this, start learning, and maybe we can work together on a whole series. just email me if you ever feel so led.

lol, i loved the game it loaded fast, it kept me entertained till i could beat the time and best of all it had the initial D themse on it, i litteraly spent 100's of dollars at the arcade on this game cuz it was that addicting anyways perfect score cuz i love inital D ;D
hahahaha. i love anime nuts. myself, i have probably spent close to 400 dollars on initial d over the years (im not some wasteful kid, ive been playing for more than four years). i still go to the arcade at least once a week. i race an RX7 FD and a Levin AE85 (you wouldnt believe how many people lose to that care because they think i suck for driving it). still...
i know how you feel about initial d. i feel the same way. i tried to keep file size down, and i might put more music in next time. one or two songs. and yes, initial d is addicting. im not even a big fan of cars. its just initial d.
