Reviews for "GreenCastle: DoubleExodus"

Reminds me of some really oldschool rpgs.

I can't seem to get to far into the game, however. I have the alexiaring and have leveled up slightly. I'm to the point where there is a guy many levels out of my league blocking my path. I have nowhere to go and I've tried equipping the alexiaring on the 2 spots on the map (that I can currently go to) that pop-up some text (the earth thing and the scorpion thing). Well I can't seem to go anywhere (can't beat that guy blocking my path, no chance) and I can't get anything to happen at the 2 pop-up text spots. Perhaps I'm just over-looking something??

GreenCastle responds:

You're supposed to lose to Morgen, the first time you meet. After you come to, go back through the ruins to where he was. You'll notice he has run away, you can leave the ruins and explore the rest of the game.

Great

OoOoh another full review
Graphics: The 3d Effects and other stuff make the graphics solid. 7/10
Style: Cause this is an rpg- which is rare, i give thee a 10
Sound: Repeating Music, gets anoyying after a while (honestly) add in a music box! effects are good, so it evens out to a 5/10
Violence: Not BIG violence, but violence. solid. 8/10
Interactivity : Game = 10/10
Overall : Some flaws, and great all around, 8/10
Suggestions: Keep working on flash games, u will probably become famous................ Im serious.

Great Flash RPG

The game was nice and long for the filesize and overall pretty fun to play. The concept of chess pieces duking it out with monsters was pretty original too. I'm sure you've already read about all the other little details to improve the game in previous reviews, but I think that with the file space left over I would've uncompressed the sound more or added additional battle tracks to make things seem a little less repetitive (though the ones you did have were pretty good too).

GreenCastle responds:

Thanks, that is a good suggestion. The Four Lords probably should have gotten their own battle theme.

I don't revise my work once it's been submitted, but I do take suggestions to heart.

In fact I am working on another Flash RPG right now, using the same engine but with improvements. I'm not ready to disclose details at this point but look for it around the end of April.

Fan-fuckin-tastic!

This is a great RPG you made here, nice graphics, fun and a really nice and good story too. Thank god for saving, lol. I will continue to play this and beat it that's for sure.

Nice!

This was really great..

The graphics were good, but they weren't perfect. No offense, but it was mostly rectangles and square, trees; alot of shapes with some detail..

The style recieves a ten! I like it how you can upgrade your statistics and encounter random battles. You also leveled up in a way, was able to equip new weapons, ect. Very RPG-Like.

The sound was great. The battle music was the best (IMO), and the world map music fit the background perfectly.

Violence..? Not too much. Just tackles and stuff.

Interactivity! Press the play button, press the arrow keys to move, upgrade, equip, unequip, battle..recieves an eight.

Humor? I don't think so..

Overall Score: 9
