Reviews for "GreenCastle: DoubleExodus"

best flash ever

I loved it. it had a deep gameplay it was long, it rocked. please make me your flash student. =). i dont finish the game yet, but i think im getting close (got the mirror).

Best Flash I've Played this Year.

...Or maybe I'm just biased towards RPGs and I don't find too many flash ones. This game is very entertaining and challenging enough to keep me interested, but not so challenging that it makes me not want to play. The chess theme is unique & the creativity really comes through in the details of the game. Some things are not exactly self-evident, but its nothing you can't get around with some sluthing.

There are some minor interface issues that have already been mentioned (victory audio could be shorter; allowing use of arrow keys; etc.), but they are just that--minor. I'm looking forward to playing the next sequel.

Very good, but not quite perfect

Very fun, and you can be playing it for a long time. The graphics, while not overtly impressive, do the job well. I find the stat and battle systems particularly interesting.

Some parts of the interface could be improved, though. Specifically, knowing on the menu how many tech points each technique requires and whether a particular technique is mastered; which could be done as simply as having a tech page in the menu. My other concern is seeing the effects of equipment. Figuring out elemental/status changes is easy enough; but knowing what happens to your attack/defense ratings with many different items involves a ton of switching between the equipment page and the general info page.

Still, those little gripes aren't nearly enough to make it unplayable. DoubleExodus is a lot of fun, and I'm hoping for another RPG of this sort, if not a sequel. Any chances of that?

im stuck

i cant get past the room in the library where u have to err.. float on the diamonds behindthe blue books. i know they have to have something in common. can u help me?

Good

Pretty good game. The only problem I have is that room where you stand on one tile and the tiles next to it light up, and you have to light them all, I haven't been able to figure that one out. Also by the time I found the last two characters I already had the knights leveled up pretty high and just stuck with them. Keep up the good work.
