Reviews for "GreenCastle: DoubleExodus"

Fantastic game

I know this is a bit later than all the other reviews but I've been away from NG for quite a while.
This game is so good; it's actually a whole Flash RPG which is rare to find anywhere, let alone NG. Many thumbs up for your superb efforts; it wasn't time wasted.

Having recently completed it, I discovered you pillaged nearly all my music for this game, which I find pleasing to say the least, knowing I've been able to help someone create their game. It's a warm fuzzy feeling.

Not really anything I can fault this game on either; the difficulty was challenging but not impossible, it kept me playing to the end, and the interface was intuitive too. I reiterate this is a very good game that I think should have scored a little higher than it has. My hat is off to you.

Awesome game but....

knowing that this game was made by one person makes this game even more kick ass. But I have a question...

I'm pretty sure that I missed something but what the hell are you suppose to do with the green berre?

GreenCastle responds:

Green Beret: Go to Port Town with the Green Beret equipped on GreenCastle. Go to the Green Beret Club on the west side of town. The rebel guard will move, letting you pass.

There's a thread for this game on the BBS. Check it out if you have any additional questions ^_^

Very entertaining.

This game has been a blast. I'm near the end and have a few questions. What the hell is the black carrot for? I haven't found any use for it. Do the bishops get 8 total spells? I can only get 7 so far. Nothing seems to work against the final, final boss. Any tips?

GreenCastle responds:

Black Carrot: You start each battle with maximum TP, but you're weak against status attacks. If Ben equips this item he gets a bonus to his magic level.

When a character gets to 10 Wisdom, they become a Tech Master and will not learn any more techs after that.

My advice for you against the final, final boss is to notice that it's strong against all elements and status. The most effective attacks are physical attacks with neutral weapons. If you come close and fail, keep trying - you may get lucky.

If you don't think that you are ready to face it, use the blue portal in the final room and you can go back to fight some more bad guys.

You didn't mention who was in your party, so I can't really go into detailed strategy for you. But good luck, you've played well to make it this far.

That was very good.

That was indeed one of the most best flash games I've ever played. I'm stuck at the red cave though. The one beyond the red gate. Those AstoundingEyes keep using the eye of god that KOs all my party members at one shot. Is there a way to prevent auto death?

GreenCastle responds:

Astounding Eyes are the strongest in the Eye family. You could just run away, but then you won't get the Red Robe, which only they drop. If you want to beat one, you need to take Eye of God into account.

Eye of God (a Light spell) kills any target that is weak vs. Light. So anyone you really want to live should be wearing armor that does not create a Light weakness.

AstoundingEyes are weak against Dark. They have 800 HP. Metal, Blind, and Stone are ineffective against them. They're worth 250 pawns each.

Great RPG

But I have a question....after I talked to Morgen in the castle, I immediately left the castle. After I crossed the bridge, the two knights asked me about Alexia and said we should meet at the house. I tried going to GreenCastle's house....but nothing happened...could ya help me out.

GreenCastle responds:

After you have the conversation with your party on the bridge, head back to Morgen's throne room. You'll notice that he is not there anymore.

Walk behind the throne.
