Neither. It's a transformer. What's a tranformer? The "step"-ness depends on the ratio of coils on the input to coils on the output. Work it out! Fun for all the family!

It wasn't all that bad
Dude, that wasn't a total waste of my time. I love the music... Transformers ruled. I watched them every day after school. And I liked your play on words... "transformers"... ok I'm an electrical engineer, it's funny to me!
The only thing was that some of the changes were too fast (you couldn't tell what was happening) and the text disappeared too fast.
It wasn't great... but it wasn't terrible either. Bring back more classic tunes!
