Reviews for "Zombies Bite (Teaser)"

looks good

Wow that looks like it should be good --- Please finish it!

visuals were nice, there is a story line, audio was good.
Conisider me a fan =) (if you finish)

Great concept

An 80s zombie movie is an awesome idea. You have the clothes down pat, lol. Your animation was very fluid and the graphics were superb. However, the only problem, of course, is that it's not finished! Get to work, man, this looks like it's going to be great.

A gramatic Inquiry...

I liked the flash but I had one question. Is the title missing an apostrophy; making it "Zombie's Bite" (as in the bite of a zombie), or is it an imperative sentence commanding more than one zombie to bite? Or maybe it is a statement in regards to your feelings about zombies (as in "Dude, zombies suck!" said Nat. "Yeah," Harry replied, "zombies bite!" I am losing sleep over this pressing and important issue.

HappyHarry responds:

I'm glad you asked, I'm quite happy for it to be a title open to interpretation, but the two I was aware of were with regards to the actual bite of a zombie creature (though as you said, no apostrophe) but my preferred reading is the last one, zombies do in fact, bite.

Thanks dude

Not too bad...

I'm a huge zombie movie fan, and this one certainly seems to be going in the right direction, however I have a few critiques:

1. Fix that car in the driveway! Is that supposed to be a boat with wheels? If you can't make it look right, then remove it. It's not necessary and it detracts from the piece.

2. Calvin's voice seems too high for his age. Pitch-shift it down a little or find an older voice actor for believeability. The voice acting on a whole though, was excellent.

3. Some of the music seemed a little out of place. The Phantom of the Opera theme worked well, but I thought Rio could have been replaced with something much more intense. If you want a more appropriate Duran Duran song, may I suggest "Hungry Like A Wolf?" :-)

Those small points aside, I was very impressed with the segment overall. I can't wait to see what you do with it! Keep it up!

HappyHarry responds:

1. It does a bit...

2. I'm english, and struggle with American accents (this needed to be set in America) and they end up sounding all the same, I needed something to help distinguish the two male leads, hence the somewhat extreme pitch manipulation.

3. It was supposed to be a little out of place, effectively ironic, but it's a fair point.

I don't disagree with you at all, just sticking up for myself (or trying to)
Thanks for the review, constructive criticism is mucho welcome.
