old school toon
The action is a little too much like an old bugs bunny cartoon to set the proper atmosphere for a serious animation about a convict making a prison break. Why didn't the police officers shoot at the prisoner? Why did the escaped prisoner die in the desert just shortly after escaping? It looked like the first thing he did as a free man was take a nap and die in his sleep. Perhaps it would have been better to end with the exhausted prisoner dragging himself through the desert with the hot sun beating down on him, and you pull back to reveal the endless distance he has yet to travel without water. But then maybe this wasn't meant to be serious, and I've missed the point. In any case, good stuff. Please make more.
