Nice work.
While I've seen irc clients in flash before, this is up there with the best. :)
I'd like to see it taken to the next step and used for something beyond simple chatting. There's a lot of cool stuff you could do with this (my head is spinning with the possibilities, think simple multiplayer apps. :)

THe only problem with multiplayer IRC apps, is that on most servers, there is the possibility of flooding off..I've experimented with flash and perl...I could definitely see myself, or someone else making a game using a flash client, and a perl server.

When it first came out there was seriously 10 post per second. Once it gets older there wont be as many people on it usally just regulars. I am still amazed because this is the first time I saw this. Could this rival #ngchat theres a chance. I am proud to have been banned from this sexy irc.

However, it won't get a ten because of bad graphics(talk to stamper, he will make wonders with this) and because it can't connect to other servers, like irc.quakenet.org. Tried doing both the /server (/server is a server only command) and /connect (you do not have the correct IRC operator privileges...)... WHY?! :)
