Reviews for "Tinman"

didnt see that ending coming...!

was very good, i was happy to see a new submission with good graphics and .. well.. being a good overall flash period :) it was a tad short, but very deep nontheless. hope to see another movie like this, but maybe with some talking (or if you can do another deep + silent movie, that would be just as good). keep em coming!

BlackmarketKraig responds:

Great, thank you.

Yeah, when I was finishing it up I started thinking that it was pretty short... but people often complain that my flash work is too slow so I just kinda figured that my feelings about it were premature. Ah well, I should learn to trust my instincts more.

I haven't done any talkies for Newgrounds yet... right now I'm not really feeling it. Plus, I have a big project to do soon, so it'll be awhile before my next submission and by then who knows what I'll be into...

Anyway thanks for reviewing, you probably didn't want an essay as a response though... :P

Deep

Mmm that was deep. Good job with the movie, it was i don't know calm, kinda sad but in the end the emotions worked. Animation was good and the art itself was great. I enjoyed this greatly.

BlackmarketKraig responds:

Thanks! I glad you could enjoy it! ^_^

<3

It was an ok film

But it was really annoying after the first 2 times when "empty" jumped on the screen, and if robots don't have emotions why did it want them if it didn't have them?

BlackmarketKraig responds:

Hey, I'm the recipient of your first review... that's something...

Well, I'm glad you thought it was okay at least. ^_^

And, yeah, I know... desire is an emotion (this was also pointed out by the last reviewer). But sometimes you have to suspend disbelief, or something like that... Since, you know, there aren't any sentient robots walking around, building stuff in the first place... :)

Thanks for reviewing!

Paradox!

Ok.. So... It's a sad robot. He walks slowly.I get it.

Also: If he has no emotions, why does he have such a desire to have emotions?

Conclusion: Graphics were fine, although there were only like 2 things in the movie, and it was sort of monotone. Music fit, but was only sound. Plot not really that original. Meh. It's still better than quite a lot of the stuff on NG.

BlackmarketKraig responds:

Heh. You're right, of course. ^_^
But who does't enjoy a good paradox once in awhile?

Maybe..? :P

Thanks for reviewing!

Very well done!

Very well done my good man. That was excellent, the graphics were top notch, the music blended in well, and I liked the story(although its not the most original thing around). I noticed you tweened everything, meh, it still turned out fine. Nice job dude(I wish you would of used Frame-By-Frame Animation), lookin forward to more projects from you. ^_^

BlackmarketKraig responds:

Thanks.

Tweening is okay... it's a lot less time consuming than a colored frame by frame piece, that's for sure... I've been sneaking in fbf effects here and there for things I couldn't do otherwise, but I intend to use a lot more fbf in the future.

Thanks for reviewing and for the awesome score!
