Wow. That was an amazing piece of work. It really made you think. I think that the heart is reflective of the overwhelming feelings in our hearts. We all love the happy emotions but the angry and the depressing emotions are the ones that we remember. I think that America in general with terrorism and people not being unified is going to make us all depressed until, we eventually feel, nothing.

You are absolutely right, we tend to dwell on the poisonous emotions while the nice ones are fleeting.
I wonder why that is? How can that possibly benefit us as a species? Weird.

Liked it quite a bit.
i agree that although this type of story is quite played out, i think you made a very good piece of work infusing your own style and a somewhat fresh spin on it. although i think some of the robot's animations could have used a little more work and it would have helped if you relied less on the impact of the music and tone and added a little more story. However i liked this overall and think you should keep up this quality of work, even if it doesn't concern such popular subject matter.

Yeah, it takes time I guess to develop good tools and techniques for any artform and animation is no exception. So, while I'm pretty proud of what I've been able to do so far I know that I have a long way to go.
And I'll try to have a more original idea next time. ^_^

Kinda...well, depressing...
To tell you the truth, it was sort of depressing. I mean this robot wanted feelings, and nothing else...and once he got them, he was -- I guess you could say afraid -- of these feelings. I think that there's a reflection on human culture there. In that feelings are just bad things, and when you have feelings, the only -- well, predominant one is depression.
I don't know -- the message just seemed discouraging. As heartfelt as it may have been, it was just discouraging.
I apologize if it made you feel depressed and/or discouraged.
I guess the message, discouraging as it may be is, is more or less my what my experience with life has been, and those are the tools I have to work with.
