Reviews for "The GHOST (demo .2)"

Blurgged

This game is bad, but its only 25% done, Wheres the story line, why am I shooting stuff?

Not bad

For a demo, this wasnt bad. It definitely needs variation in enemies. As stated before, a shop would be nice.

this is not you

this is not you michol rankin, this is not you.your games have never been so bad before.try harder.

Good, but not great

a few things, a great addition to any game like this, a shop would be nice. the grim reapers could be a little more defined, diversity in enemies, and perhaps Night vision goggles instead of the flashlight.

A few items,
Night Vision (as per above)
a sword (not just the knife)
Throwing knives
tranquilizers (a stunner thing)
and probably some kind of levitating object (jetpac)

Really good for a demo.

This game was really good for a demo. However, there are some things that require explanation.

First of all, the flashlight. Is it used aka Luigi's Mansion to freeze the ghosts, or what? What is its purpose? I just kept shooting the ghosts until they disappeared.

Second of all, the rock boss. What is the pattern to beating him? I just kept shooting and beat him, but there didn't seem to be any pattern or sense of purpose when beating him. It seemed like when he got near the cliff his head blew off for some unknown reason and then you could damage him.

There are two glitches I'd like to point out to the author. The first one is the ending of level screen, I'm getting a negative number of hits...? Secondly, during the boss fight when he shoots out stuff at you, 1. I'm not even sure if it hurt me and 2. There's a weird glitch when you're firing your gun and he shoots that makes the shot of his go back to its starting point and then fall at you once more.

I liked the jumping of the character, it was very Metroid-esque.

I suggest everyone who likes sidescrolling platforming games play this demo. Highly recommended.
