it was alright
You should do more with the attacks and number of hits it takes to kill enemies....Those are the only two things I can really think of right now that would help it a lot.

Good so far...
I would like to make a few suggestions
A. The wraiths(I'm assuming that's what the blue-ish clear ghostly things are) can kill you instantly. I had full heath and looked up to shoot a skelly adn a wraith hit me.. and just kept going though me. I took a hit for each instant he was on my character and I couldn't hit him, so I died. Make it so the wraith hits you, you can kill it, or when it hits you it backs off, or when ever you get hit you simply can be hurt for a second or so.
B. Beef up the gun graphics, teh machine gun was a one color stick that had a little branch on it to hold it by. I mean, it's not that big of a deal, realy. Just trying to be nice and help out.
C. Make 2 different attack button for the melee and shooting attacks. I trying to shoot a wraith but the character melee'd so the wraith got to me, and I died.
D. Diagonal shooting. That would be very nice. And quite helpful.
