Reviews for "Mr. D's Punch Out"

Classic

Beautiful rendition.

fun fun fun

wow i forgot how fun old school games were untill i played this.

ya know

had it been a little SHORTER it wouldnt have lost my interest so soon pally

quamusa responds:

Sorry about the legnth, I just tried to emulate the actual game as much as possible. I hate seeing 10-second portal entries at the top of every list, so I tried to make this more in-depth without generating mass boredom. Again, all these characters are well-known around where I live, so it'd probably be more interesting if you knew them as well. I'm glad you enjoyed it somewhat, though. Keep it real.

Ok...

I have to give you credit for the time you put in, the programming, etc.
But this is kind of stupid. It may be funny to people in your high school or whatever, I don't know.. But if we don't know the people, it's just a huge waste of time. I'm wondering why you would dedicate so much time and energy to a dumb high school game...
If you're doing it to 'rebel' against school faculty, you're making yourself out to be the idiot loser because you wasted your time on this.

quamusa responds:

I appreciate your input, and with a name like dicksniffer, I can tell that you're one of the most credible flash reviewers out there. Truthfully, this was not an act of rebellion at all. In fact, all the teachers involved couldn't wait for it to come out. I choose to teach myself flash by setting goals and doing new projects. I used this as a new project and learned a lot. This was in no way a "waste of time" for me. Reading your review, on the other hand...

beating up teachers. a++

that was a great game man. that was awesome all the small things you put in there that didnt need to be. The game sound effects were coo too. but what was with that goat and some times i would have the fist right in the middle of the teacher and nothing they wouldnt get hit.

quamusa responds:

try not to aim for their arms when they're in defensive positions-- anything covered by their arms can't be hit. The face, crotch and legs are always your safest bets.
