I actually liked this. A little more work and you could perfect this title. I agree witht he previous review in that there needs to be a better comp AI. My favorite part was the song. It was very creative of you to make that.... or did you. Better graphics always help too.

the computers paddle just moves up and down it has no real A.I. to even compete against. No offense but you need to actually make a pong game and not just have the elements. Good idea with the chocobo and the music but make it with some sort of challenge

It's OK but...
There is already hundreds variations of pong in Newgrounds. But anyway here is some feedback about the game; when you hit the ball (character) with your paddle the ball doesn't move very smoothly it just teleports a little backward and then continue it's travel to new direction. You should try to fix that because it looks little awful.

Not much effort here
I like how someone thinks you programed this. It so eay to get the pong code to use for a flash. There are a ton of Pong type games on this. All the basic games have been over done. Do something a little more original next time.

It was ok.....
Not everyone can program a decent working game, and I was impressed by that, but it can still do witha bit of work. I was dissapointed by the fact that the only reason it was called Chocobo Pong really was because you hit one around. You could have used anything there. Also, the Chocobo moves a bit weird. He sort of jolts a little bit. But I liked the way he got faster through time so it didn't get too tedious. If there is a Version 1.5 or even 2.0 I hope it patches up a bit better.
Version 2.0 (which is next) will be a lot better with better bats, chocobo colour options, music options and more!
