Reviews for D-Day WW2

Very good movie!

That was a very good movie. Excellent movie, even. (Better than 90% of the crap that gets submitted). HOWEVER, there is one thing that bothered me about this movie. You used the BF1942 intro music and the historical accuracy of a few things suggest that you used BF as a template for "realism". ;) So my comments about the realism:
1) Despite what one person said, the US did use Thompsons, however, they were not the "trench-broom" style that you drew.
2) The M1 garand's site is wrong.
3) Why did every German have an StG44? They were much more likely to have a K98 or even an MP40 than an StG.
4) The german at the end had what looked to be a Colt 1911 pistol instead of the Walther P38 (or, perhaps an old luger).
Oh well, these are very minor issues, but being interested in WW2 type stuff, I had to comment. To reitterate, however, great movie. I'd like to see more. Perhaps some stuff from Normandy. :)

i think your right. the guns that I drew were the only onesw i knew of, and i do have battlefield 1942. Thanks for the history lesson and review. :)

Pretty good

This was pretty good.The graphics were above avrage and your style for drawing the solders was pretty good.But were is the voice over.And the animation was not that smoth and the efects werent that good.

I enjoyed the theme. Only one thing... Nazis didn't use Colt .45s.

I think that was nice movie! But I think one thing. Its wrong at medics have a thompsons but thompsons look like very old. In World War 2 the thompsons grips was ( left hand grip) only straight wood grip. But in you movie look like at thompsons are old Chicago Thompsons. But still good movie! And American soldiers suit was little bit weird. And one thing. The german soldier who aimed on american soldier head. He had some way Colt 45 pistol? But really it must to be a Walther P38 pistol. Germans use these during the war. Keep going! Make more of WW2 movies! I like them!

History

I find this lacking much historical erm fact as the man so kindly put it a few reviews before. The Weapons the Germans were using werent really in service at the time of D-day (if memory serves) nor did any individual allied soldier run up to the sea wall or even through the trenchs and blah blah blah by himself and survive (it was more of 3 guys charge the sea wall only 1 or 2 make it). Also uniforms off and weapons and medics.. he h i dont really need to go on and on.

On a flash note i enjoyed it but found it rather slow at times. Ive seen some of your other flashes for example that recent one where a bunch of artist (you included) made a music video and i saw your detail in that dream and i hope to see it again in more war flashes.

I agree. When I watch it now I notice all of the things I did that wernt accurate to histroy, and it got slow because I waqs to lazy at that time to animate a lot of people. I will eventually make another and it should be a lot better. Cheers.
