Please try harder.
You need to 1) remove the white from around the sprites, 2) animate them more smoothly, and 3) not submit demos to NG. It says clearly on the submission page that partially completed works are to be submitted to NG.MAG, not the portal.
I could make something like this in half an hour, please put more work into it. If you work hard enough, everyone will praise your art. If you just slap stuff together, everyone will blam you.

Honestly... I don't think it's a sprite movie thing... maybe your image formats are too heavy, maybe it's the sound... but for such a short clip, it weighs waaaay too much.
Nice idea, should be redone.
