Reviews for "The Edge Of Darkness"

half assed plot, no real story

way too many parts of this movie don't fit together. the begining was so random and underdeveloped. i wasn't sure if the "four weeks ago" was supposed to be four weeks before we see the man on the subway or not until it said "present day". so that whole time i wasn't sure when those events occured. also, the "it was my wife" garnerd a big "wtf" considering i only saw one man being attacked, so the fact that this woman is now dead didn't have any connection in the flow of events. also, i couldn't care who she was at that point, because you developed no relation between the viewer and the character. i didn't feel for him, i wasn't sad that his unexplained wife was dead, because you didn't introduce his character. and the confusion continued on as we see him in the detective's office. the setup makes it appear as though this man is a detective or an officer. except he is just sitting there, looking as content as usual. and why is he there? has he been sitting there for four weeks? why are all the police photos of extreme close-ups of anatomy? i don't think the details of the victims jaw muscle will crack that case. and that leads to the biggest mystery in this whole movie. why is a killer with a huge blade able to delicately slice thin layers open without ever leaving a scratch on muscle, organs, or bones? if he was violently hacking at bodies there would only be ragged bloody tissue. but just like you said, these images were taken directly from a book on anatomy, which are views of the body in a neat and orderly fashion. images that can only be seen thanks to surgical tools. every victim looked like it would require way more time and care in his killings then the hack and slash style. also, when the man sees the killer's face, is it him? because that would pretty much ruin your earlier version of him as a big bald man with huge yellow teeth. but you know, continuity is overrated anyway....oh,and the completely cheesy ending was so expected i almost laughed. you can do flash, but you really need help in creating a story, cuz right now it's just a lot of nice images put to music

Disgusting!

OK. You can make a point without showing people's insides spewing out. the story was pretty good though...still way too anatomical!

wtf?

dude you can make a point without showing all that gore

w/e good storyline

WHAT THAT F?

this was just random horrible pictures of discusting bodys. Was their actually any point to all of this horror?? Maybe if there was some powerful reason i might understand. Too much random violence

Needs story

This is a good example of where graphics cant really help to flash... they were excellent but the made no sense whatsoever... look forward to some improved flashes from you.
