Sacreligious, creepy, yet alright
Considering that I'm about to go to bed, this was perhaps not the best of material to watch, eh? Still, I was told it would be disturbing and I got what I expected. Points for making an eerie piece around a normally benign religious figure -- that's the sort of dichotomy that got Chuckie where he is and those creepy porcelain dolls their reputation. Good work!
To everyone else: I don't see how this could be construed as an attack on Christianity or God or even Jesus, so chill. I'm not a 'Jewbag' or a 'Raghead' or even from an Eastern Philosophy; I'm born and breed Catholic, staunchly so, and I sincerely do not find this offensive. It isn't Jesus -- it is an inflatable Jesus. If you blithely believe that each and every effigy of the Son of God therefore must be Him Himself, then you're going to be sorely disappointed. Besides, if I was a demonic being out to kill Timmy in the middle of the night, what better visage to adopt than that of the savior of a major religion?
Really. I don't like to see flaming more than the other guy and the more you make bigoted comments or spaz out, the worse you make the moderates of the religion seem. It's sorry enough we have a bad reputation -- don't add to it.
