this is a really fun game. i don't think i've played a game like this before. I really liked the gameplay of this game and the music and sound fx were cool too.

I am honoured to have caught this game during judgement. It's a real fun game.
The graphical style is really well done. I'll have this over a bunch of static JPEGs moving around any day. The raining dots just somehow make the whole game feel more dynamic.
The gameplay is pretty addictive. A little reminscent of Robotron. Good use of keyboard/mouse control.
Here's some stuff to inprove upon:
- Include a music toggle. This is important. In fact, make the loop of the music a bit shorter, as this will dramatically decrease filesize (which tends to help a flash's score a little)
- It takes a little while to escalate to the tougher levels. If you make the score required to level up a bit less, that'd be good.
- I wouldn't mind if your tank moved it a bit faster, though it's pretty good as it is.
- Instead of making the boss move quickly along a fixed path, it might be better to make his movements more random (no safe place to hide), but make it a bit slower to give the player a fighting chance.
They're all minor issues, this game is already awesome. Good work :)
"Whoa"
Really innovative. I was glued to the game until I beat it. The graphics give an old 80's feel to the game, but the speed and music made it very modern. And I liked the lasers! Not overly difficult or easy, but just right. Great job and keep it up!
