Reviews for "Hunter Zero Ep.1"

not too bad for a megaman sprite comic

My biggest recomendation is for you to put some sound in instead of using the text.

CheveLoco responds:

well i dont want horrible voice acting to ruin a decent movie. And i would find it kind of weird to be doing voice acting for a sprite movie.

Nothing special, but well-made

I kinda wish people explained how they changed the setting whenever I see these Megaman flashes that can't really fit anywhere in the continuity. Well, this one doesn't contradict itself at least, which is a rare good sign. And there are hints of a real plot. Ooooh...

We'll see.

I don't know how much of the graphics were pieced together or modified rather than just pre-made, but the animation was smooth and fast paced, so it gets fair graphics score.

Sound was really good, with really well-matched music.

Interactivity... well, it had what it needed.

Style. Well, it had lots of that, even if not a very unique one. When I saw Zero doing the cliche shadowy eyeless pose, I expected him to also do the cliche "look up and reveal eyes before kicking ass" move too. Very disappointed that he didn't, lost points for that. :P

Violence... not much. I mean, yeah, it has generic robots getting destroyed en masse, but I still wouldn't rate that very violent.

It's not funny. Nor is it meant to be.

So there. Keep up the good work and I really hope the plot won't such when it starts to develop.

CheveLoco responds:

i did explained really briefly how i changed the setting, it's in my author comments(Here it is, my last sprite series, the follow up to Bass' Revneg, Hunter Zero!), just how i esplained it with my last series Bass' revenge...telling everyone how this was how i filled the gap that there's between megaman and megaman X. Almost all of the backgrounds were modified, be it changing the colors to fit the setting(the starting fight with the robotmasters) or just changing little details(most of the backgrounds are pieces of different backgrounds put together to avoid being repetitive)

Music was something i put a lot of attention to so i'm glad u point that out.

The cliched pose, well i just wanted zero to look more like a bad guy so what's better than a shadowy eyeless pose...so that's all the cliche it zero needed :P..

Like i said in many reviews before, the plot it's kinda predictable, due to most people having an idea of what happens between megaman and megaman x(see? my setting has been clearly explained before) but i will try to add many twists to keep it entertaining, thanx for the review!

erm..

Story was great, But Agh I hate sprites the're as overused as Sticks are!

CheveLoco responds:

well to each its own

I hate sprites

It's not you, it's me.

CheveLoco responds:

hahahaha alright!

... BLAM.

This.. sucked. It was so hopeful but... failed.

Pixelated zoom ins- Suck
Choppy cut action- suck- makes you think your computer is still loading.

You make Zero appear evil- He's not. He's just a mercanary robot- does what he wants to benifit him. You plot him against Megaman like there enemies- when in fact Mega has saved and helped Zero many of times.

CheveLoco responds:

pixelated zoom ins??...you realize this IS a sprite movie right?

Zero was created by Wily to stop megaman
