Reviews for "Hunter Zero Ep.1"

nice

very impressive. i liked this movie a lot. im not the biggest sprite fan, but i absolutely loved this movie here. i noticed that its only episode 1, so im assuming and hoping that more are coming. i really look forward to seeing more of this.

CheveLoco responds:

yep...at least 5 episodes heh

Pretty Good...

If you had been able to zoom out a little it would have been better cause the characters wouldnt have been so blurry...

Good movie

I like how you switch things around making it instead of proto saveing megas @$$ it's vise. And I hope part 2 comes soon.

CheveLoco responds:

it's coming..Nov 20th or maybe sooner

Quick Pace Actions with a engrossing story.

Its been a while but lets see. Incredilbe menu, with an great movie-style introduction. Surely, the music and choice of actions makes well for this sprite animation. One of the qualities that places your movies above many other sprite movies.

I would suggest perhaps adding name tags for those robot masters that would "blink" for those unfamiliar with Megaman.

The story does seem to flow well from your previous Bass Revenge. Nice job once again on this Rigo, but I'm still looking foward to your Project X series. Good luck.

CheveLoco responds:

i didnt think about the tags...i may add them..it would be a good idea..

about project X, i have started working on it again...if everything goes as planned it should came out before the end of the year...meanwhile get ready for Hunter Zero 2..it's coming out Saturday, November 6th...thanx

Good, but here's what you can do better.

Story-wise, I enjoyed this quite well, though some things did not add up at times.

-Bass' dissapearance was dissapointing.

-Sprite styles from different series were mixed. BAD!

-The 'Federation' was too Trekkie, if you know what I mean.

-Mega Man may've had a child personality, but he was never a coward, unless this is some kind of battle strategy for the next episode.

On a good note, the use of music from different sources other than Rockman/MegaMan stuff was enlightening, I might download a couple of those different tracks.

All in all, make sure not to mix sprite styles for episode two. You can find a custom 32-bit Shadowman full sheet, as well as a full custom 32-bit Protoman sheet. I can get ahold of both of those if you're interested.

CheveLoco responds:

-Well this was not supposed to be his main entrance, because as you may have seen, his appearance is not that relevant till the end of the third epidose.

-Unlike Super Mario Bros' Sprites, you can't find all the characters of the megaman series on the same bit-rate..that's why i have to use from different games.

I'm not a big fan of custom sprites, mainly because they are mostly just other characters with their respective colors and missing frames of animation.

-Well you probably found out what happened with megaman in the next episode.
