Reviews for "Paper Mario - Tutankoopa"

(Qo.o)--O

Has a slight Arabic touch to it, imo.

As perfect-insanity already stated, let the main song go on another 4-8 seconds before letting it fade out. Perhaps add a little more power to the kick and bass.

Very good interpretation of a already epic theme song. Is there more to say?

Maybe the kick and bass could use more power. I'll see if I can fix that in my later songs.
Thanks for the review!

cool song

I liked the mix of old school mario sounds and the oriental sounds, a very unique combination and you pulled it off very well, my only complaint is that the end seems to drag on a bit too long, try and carry the main song over into it a bit longer before it fades out

The ending seems to be the big problem, but at least that's your only complaint lol.

Old Skool Tribute

This tune certainly conjures up imagery of Mario from his earliest incarnations, during the first golden age of Nintendo gaming. Though it does have a taste of the Orient / Egypt about it, which I think works really well. I think that the Chinese oriental sounding bits and pieces complimented the Egyptian theme, which would be suggested by the title of this piece.

Though the ending fades out over about 10 seconds too much, it does calm down nicely towards the end, but if it were to be used in a game, it would be the major stumbling block for the author of that game.

I'm glad you liked the Oriental / Egyptian sound. I'm actually surprised that it worked lol!
I understand that the ending kinda fades out too much, and would be a problem if it was used in a game.
Anyways, thanks for the review!

A nice track. The intro and the outro may need some work, though. The build up in intro could happen a bit faster in my opinion. Also, the part between the intro and the middle part isn't that exciting.

But the middle part is just awesome! Various images from various Mario games came to my mind when I listened to the main melody, which means you've done everything right here! (At least in my opinion ;) ).

The outro is a bit of a let down. It already starts at 1:19... I wished the main melody was playing until the end.

It seems most people have problems with the intro and outro. I can understand that, and I will see if I can avoid that in my next track.
At least everyone likes the middle part! ^^
