Work on it
This idea shows some promise. You should put some more style into it, though. Make everything sleeker and not like it was all done in MSPaint. Add some sound effects and change that annoying music loop. And add something that can change the crosshairs on the screen from shooting monsters to moving to different rooms. It could be pretty good.

I really enjoyed that. It looks like you put a lot of effort into it. I liked the purple octopus that took over the guy's body the best. Very good job!
