You obviously need a background, and perhaps more attacks? (like slash, scratch, bite etc...) Otherwise, nice game!

So-So
Its okay, but it doesn't stay true to the FF4 system. In FF4, guarding doesn't heal you, it just reduces damage. Plus, FF4 is "ACTIVE TIME BATTLE" meaning the enemy can hit you while you are trying to decide what to do. This is more of a turn based system like Phantasy Star or FFX. Don't worry though, you did an alright job. Oh yeah, add a damn background dude...jeez. =^)

Thats something interesting. Way too fucking easy. More weaker characters and a stronger opponent would be better. Add a background and better fuckin' graphics. This could be very nice if it was done better. IM expecting a re-make and if its better i will vote higher. Nice idea.

I thought it was pretty moderate in difficulty, I died a fair bit of times when fighting him, but I guess I could raise his HP a few thousand.

Fix the button, where it says attack, you can only click on the letters, you should make it in an alpha 100% box so you cant see it, but it is easier to click.

Good start
Obviously you need backgrounds and some kind of storyline. Need ways in and out of the battle as this should be a COMPONENT of a work rather than a stand alone piece.
Part of the story should include some way to increase level/life/damage/etc. Fight we're dealing with now drops 1/4+ of your life per hit and a "You always lose" game is never going to make it.
Music you are using deperately needs optimization ... Odds are that's not 3.2 MB of code and 200k of audio.
