I actually thought it was a satire on how pretentious and angsty people can be, until I realised it was serious. Then my heart sank - another generic love story clogging up Newgrounds! Hurray! I'm usually a generous kind of guy, and I don't think I've ever been motivated enough to write a bad review before. Congratulations on being the first :)

Well, it is a somewhat dramatic piece, and there is a message like you said. However, the message, whatever it may be, is hard to find and takes a lot of effort on the viewers behalf to get it.
Don't get me wrong, I like the piece, but don't be surprised if a lot of people don't.
That aside, the animation was admirable and the choice of music was well made.

Very nice, you have no idea how many times I've heard a story like this from one of my friends, this is truely good stuff.

I like that song, so that made it better for me. Otherwise i might have gotten bored, but for that kind of story i think you pulled it off well. And it made me think, which is good... that i'd like to have a girlfriend and all that. One thing though... I wish you'd get better at drawing and animating your flash. In some ways it's an interesting stylized thing, like with the square eyes, but a lot of it just needs improvement. Of course, it's a lot better than so much of the stuff on newgrounds. I just like your style and some of your ideas, and want to see you get better.
