good job!
i liked the intro a lot. then when the drums come in, it got really good. this is really creative, i like this a lot. i think you still could've used some more synths though later on in the song to keep it interesting, but that might take away from the relaxing feel of the song. but hey, really good, 9/10 and 5/5!
Yeah, I tried adding more stuff later on but it kinda took away from the feel of the song, so I left it out. I'm glad to hear you like, thanks for the review!
Interesting Mix
I always enjoy listening to songs where people mix genres. Some people can do it better then others and you did a good job here.
The amount of instrument variation in the intro could be a bit better. The piano sounds great but maybe a pad or some strings could back it up along with the rain and thunder. Not much to say till the drums.
Your choice of drums is more Trance oriented which is fine. I also liked drums in ambient but the drums I would of gone with probably would have been deeper and a bit slower. Thats just a personal preference though on my part.
Overall a strong song that could use a little more body.
hmm the strings are a good idea for the first half, didn't think about it. And yeah, I messed around with the drums but I really liked the trance sound they created, so I kinda tried to orient the rest of the song around em. I enjoyed listening to this audio submission. It could fit into either the trance or ambient genre in my opinion. The thunder that you put in was a nice touch in the one part. I really like the section that started at 1 minute. It really seemed to pick up there.

Very impressive
At first I didn't like the static sound in the background, until i realized that it was the whole point of the song - Air and Rain. I loved those special effects in the background, they really made your song something great to listen to. I also loved the way the piano fit into the whole of the song. I'm usually not very big on trance or ambient music, but overall I feel like this was an awesome song, with nothing to be improved upon. Everything was perfect from the beginning until the end. You don't ALWAYS need a loop to have a good song, and this is living proof. Great work!

ya, initially the song didn't have any ambient sounds, but I added rain and thunder and it really gave it a cool feel, and I kinda based the song around that feel. Thanks for the review, glad to hear you liked it.
Air and rain don't mix....
Unless you put them together in an awesome track like this. The intro was quite awesome. The piano flowed very nicely with the thunder and rain in the background. It somehow brought back memories of Dark Cloud 2 :/. As it melts into trance at 1:15 it gets even better. Had a very nice beat to it. Everything about this song was legit.
Suggestions: Maybe some strings in the intro? That would really add to the atmosphere. Great work man!
