Reviews for "Death Wears a Tophat"

Smashing shindig what what?

Indeed 'twas!

I love teh Clue-ishness of it all. And even moreso, the washed-out, almost-sepia-toned look to the characters and rooms. Great visual stylings.

I find it funny, though, that Nef's voice while singing is so... ahem... different than her talking voice. #;-}>

Anyway, it is teh nifty. In fact, there's only one problem with the whole danged thing: sometimes when you reach a dialogue option part in a conversation with someone, their next line starts to be said before you can choose anything. It stops pretty quickly, but it's a bit disconcerting. It happens quite often. But that's the only problem I can find (well, a minor one, but the text on the The End screen is always off the edges, too... kinda weird), and that = awesome considering all the work you put into this, and all the freakin' options and variety of things to say and hear.

I suppose I wouldn't have minded more locations to go to in the house, too, but the amount of clocks involved was perfect. KumquatClock was my favourite, and I'd never seen her in a flash before. Nor had I seen SchoolClock. What's the story behind him, anyway? He's about the only clock I've seen who's named after an object or place but doesn't seem to have anything to do with that object or place, visually. Is he supposed to look like a teacher or something? ...

anywho. All the various endings, as many have said, are great in their own ways. I liked teh BiologicalClock one itself best, though. Why is the mouse-over description of Avocado so demeaning, though? #;-}>

GREAT JOB! I hope your ninja-related flash is as neato.

.....

aww, i wasn't in it... you really don't like me, do you?

:p

fun game, fifened.

MonkeyClock responds:

LOL@HATTER

Great.... even if you like Clocks.

Get this straight. I [am starting to] hate the clocks submissions. this was however, very intuitive and intelligent. just please.... no more clocks, can't you pick another arbitrary object to worship??

Excellente! Now where's my warm milk 'n' vodka?

Does this all make sense? Not likely. Does it need to? Not likely, neither.
Apart from a few spelling mistakes, it was enjoyable and fun, and you've made a nice short interactive movie.

Fiven get, my good sir. Now off to Olskoo's homosexual practices, you furry fucker, lewel ^_^

HO HO

Jolly good, chap. Love the Clue-like multiple endings, brilliant. I like a game that's impossible to lose
