As a fan of all things NG, I like it
but there are several things I feel I should point out. I hope you can take some advice from these issues, if you want to improve your flash:
1) the preloader screen... has nothing to do with the content of the flash. Just seems kinda weird. Either use the standard NG preloader or... do something with the ranks and level and whistle icons or something.
2) the actual menu is simple black and gray, and that's fine since all the icons are going to provide some colour, but: a) the text isn't lined up, and b) you made the text itself the buttons, which isn't SO bad because the text is fairly thick... but this is a common mistake I wish people wouldn't make. Put a rectangle around the text and have the WHOLE thing be a button, please. People are going to try to click the general area of the text and it won't do anything cause they missed hitting it by a few pixels.
3) I really liked the way you did the rank page, but the badges look like they got a little misaligned, and the yellow text for all the gold EG badges gets a bit old. Why not green text for the four green-wreathed general badges?
4) level icons are okay, but you could have fit them all on one page if you'd done just one aura. Maybe have a button to switch the aura, and then you wouldn't have to scroll through 4 separate pages.
5) whistles... well, there's not much you can do with whistles, so that's fine.
There ya go. I hope you find some of my advice useful, but in any event, I enjoyed seeing anything to do with the exp, b/p, and whistle system on the portal. Good choice of subject matter. #;-}>
