Reviews for "LR - Dream"

Awesome

awesome, just flat out awesome. Good job.

pretty koo

I liked it, I don't really here this kinda music on NG. maybe cuz i dont look for it.
It's not really my kinda music though, maybe cuz ur chicks. dont take offence to that, it's just dudes and chicks have diff songs. cept the chicks that do da metal vox and sound like a dude. ya I dont like dude sounding chicks.
But if you can you should gets a real drummer, only cuz you cant beat a real drum.

Setu-Firestorm responds:

Yes, a "chick" wrote the lyrics and sang this song, but I'm the "dude" who composed and mixed the music. So no, we're not both chicks. =p

Also, if I had the time to actually recruit real musicians to play real instruments, then I would be forming and running a band, not making music virtually. =p

Perfect.

I can't stop earing this awesome song.

Good song but?

Did you rip it off the net and placed it on NG or is this a production by yourself ?
then again not my style

Setu-Firestorm responds:

Well, tell you what? Why don't you look it up and see where it comes up elsewhere online? The song is called "Dream" and the psudo-bandname used is Lotus Reverie.

I guarantee that the only two places it will come up is this entry here and the Lotus Reverie Myspace that Raegan Quinn and I set up, and if it is anywhere else, it will be credited to me or the two of us together.

Excellent!

I never would have expected to find such an artfully composed piece of music on a website, but it seems I've been proven wrong. Amongst all of the run-of-the-mill techno crud, it's refreshing to find an actual rock song, and a pretty good one at that. My only real criticism for you is the lyrics: some improvement needed. Also, the overall tone of the piece is a little feminine for my tastes, but that's just me.

Setu-Firestorm responds:

It's only that way because of the fact that a woman wrote the lyrics and sang them.

Thanks for the input, though.
