Back in my day you had to walk 10 miles barefoot in the pouring rain and thunder across gravel to even get a sniff of control pad! Then it was a 20 mile hike across ravines, wolf-infested forests and raging rapids (IN THE DARK!) to get home again.

they don't appreciate, and probably don't even know, the roots of what make up the games we know today. i started gaming when i was 3, so i can appreciate games as far back as the NES. it's up to us to teach the new generation of gamers the history of gaming, because if we don't they'll grow up not knowing how to PROPERLY kill off braincells. when i have kids of my own, they're going to learn to play just like i did, from the beginning.
