Reviews for "Stick Slayer Episode Four"

Pretty Good

I loved everyone one but stick figers could of been done better!

There was one high point of this movie

And that was the death of Eskimo Bob. Praise the Lord!

This is not aliens!!!

That sucked you copeyed Aliens with that music and it had the theme of Dragon Ball Z. What a wast of life.

You didn't...

HE ATE... ESKIMO BOB! NOOOOOOO! Why did he do that? It seemed... Unnecessary. It made no sense storywise at all... Or did it? All I saw was... He killed several sticks, and then ate Eskimo Bob...?

Not so final slayer

Well after being built up so much, this giant stick is killed in a timely fashion by gravity. Wow. And suddenly theres a whole load of stickmen running around again. But now they seem like feral creatures with evil red eyes as opposed to the colourful community that was shown back in episode one.

This is a series thats lots its sense of perspective and ideas. The Stick Slayer has remained as a one note character throughout and theres been no real development since the first episode in what the hell is actually going on.

Havoing a multicoloured stickman trasform into an evil(?) Stick Slayer only adds to this sense of "I dunno what I'm doing here so lets just keep throwing stuff around and see what sticks" This culminates in the Stick Slayer breaking free from the computer (wow, so I guess that landscape was Newgrounds all along) and killing the Author of the movie. This seems like the strangest development of all and a way of the author ending this series in an unexpected way since he doesn't know what else to do with it.

This obviously isn't the final Stick Slayer, I've seen theres another four episodes to come! But at the time this was supposed to be the end of it all, and if it had ended here it really would have been a disappointment. Hopefully the remaining episodes were made because the author had a clear idea of what he was going to do this time and was able to build on the idea of Stick Slayer in a way that these first few episodes wasn't able to.
