Funny but disjointed
I liked your style and direction of the pace of some of the scenes. I also enjoyed some of the gags but unfortunately, they did not "feel" connected. I mean, the scenes were linked in a somewhat orthodox fashion that is understandable, but the humour seemed to fall flat as a whole. I get the sense there is a bit of tribute to Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy here (especially considering the credits) and that you have been influenced by British comedies, which isn't necissarily a bad thing (Douglas Adam ruled and Monty Python is classic). Nice touches with the preloader as well, a game, introduction, and a "clock" to see how the loading is going - kudos on that it was definitely above average. The whole animation shows great dedication and skill, so I feel kinda bad that I just don't get it.
Also, to come to the defense of "Genryu's Blade DVD" and its submitor ShockAnime, it clearly states in his author's comments: "Some of you think I'm a big studio. I'm not. I'm just one guy. The people that help me did the voices and gave me more ideas for the story and script" and in the opening credits "Directed, Drawn, and Animated by Nelson Hurst". Are you saying that he is lying and that he secretly has a production company unlike yourself? I think you owe an apology for spreading a rumour - admit it, you probably were just blown away like the rest of us and "thought" he must've done it with ALOT of help.
